I agree with one aspect Fhotoace. Get a 35-mm SLR camera manual and a few lenses good for him. I do not agree that you should have the Canon and Nikon SLR cameras, there are many there who are really super. Watch brands such as Pentax (the Pentax K1000 camera is that teachers) to teach, the Olympus OM1 and OM2, while a number of cameras, Minolta, Yashica a good reflex - Too many to mention.

You either have two packs of lenses are listed below:

1. to 28 (or 35) mm to 70 mm and a zoom of 70mm-200mm zoom. These lenses can be a variety of brnds into the camera, you get to be mounted. These two goals to shoot for 99% of what you shoot.

2. If you use contact lenses most important, go get a 28mm, a 50mm diameter and 135 mm and a good time with him to have. This starts the package.

If you are really on a budget and want the best quality for money, visit the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ28, which will be reviewed:

If you learn photography, then you need a good used 35mm SLR or Nikon or Canon. You can for under $ 150 on craigslist find in a city near you.

Then you need to take a photography class to learn to compose, expose, develop and print their photos. Taking a class will help you avoid the frustration of making the track and not our preferred method, and then went to school

Here is an example of a camera for sale in my area.

Nikon im a girl i feel they are quite easy to learn and great camera work in general with other costs that I have enough people and feels a little more confusion ... But that's just my experience, I think they both have great pictures, which I prefer Nikon =]
