Can Social Security Disability payments be offset to pay for defaulted student loans? - social security disability law

I am applying for social security in the event of total disability. I also stopped having to pay student loans. I know that the Ministry of Education a complaint against me for my tax refund offset (but good luck, because you can not work is).

If compensate for my SS disability, the May my loan in default repayment?

I do not know if this answer your question, but took a few years ago, it was a case of a man, the disabled and unable to pay your student loans and is in default and the cumulative prices so high, I could not pay for everything without working, so that the federal government cut its social security and therefore had to live almost nothing. alittle these discussions on this topic.
